Lol! Oh, i gettcha. My school focuses on science! And yes, I have only recently heard of Ivy leauge. But i still don't get them. I heard about them on Gossip Girl, which you may have watched/heard of - it's not out in the UK yet, but I watch it online. ITS SO DAYUM ADCCITING! AND I LOVE IT ♥
Aha, i had braces too once upon a time. I got them out around 2 years ago. I have retainers - which i find worse then braces. But that's jus' me.. ivy leauges - its uni stuff rite, like urrm i can't remember any of your uni's..ooh i know..that one..arggh..its called Dartmouth College i think..its from gossip girl. lol, and what else..havard! that law school right? you must have heard of oxford and cambridge - they are two major british ones. and you have yale..i remember that one lol.. and i think theres like one called brown? correct me if im wrong.. :) x

haha, im not falling asleep. OMG, i know EXACTLY what you're talking about. you see, in nyc we have "top classes". we're divided into classes based on our overall average from the year before. ive been in top class since second grade (excluding 3rd). im in 8th grade now and man am i BAD. honestly, ive been procrastinating sooo much. im failing too =[. its so sucks because this is the last year of middle school where i'm supposed to do my best so i can get into a great high school, but im not doing my best. blech >.<
all high schools can choose to focus on something. for examples most specialized high schools happen to focus on math, science, engineering and stuff like that. except two: one is american studies and the other is fine and performing arts (audition school). but regular high schools can also choose to focus on something. like my second choice high school is partly titled : school for global education. as assumed, they go on many worldwide trips, haha. anyway, you've heard of ivy leagues, right? yea, well thats specialized high schools. kindofish. think of specialized high schools as university's and regular high schools as colleges. i think you get the point,right?
ooh, nope i meant a week off but then my grammer is really well bad, so you took it as only one week of school which would technically be everyones ideal, but then again not everyone because well then teachers would be out of a job but anyway im kinda waffling here =D. urm so yeah i mean one week holiday off skewl. =D.
now me? well im not much of an interesting person. this year i have had my hair cut from my bum to my shoulders =D aha. urm what else, i decided i hate this year as it went from bad to worse to possibly even worse than that, and then bad again, but spring + summer is coming, so maybe things are finally starting too loook up =D. urrrm what else has happened this year. i am suffering from stress. big time. i mean you would expect an A* student like me to get on with things, but oh no i think im failing. to put it bluntly i don't think im living up to my expectations which is why i have been trying to pull my socks up. and i think it's working. ish. but it means less time on cB and more time with a falling asleep on my textbook. ah the good life. but i calculated that there is exactly 20 weeks till the summer holidays!!! :). its prolly even less for you, we break up on july 24th. its quite weird, because i only got to know you + cB last summer..and i predict this year to go hella fast =D. wow this is long, i think you might fall asleep reading.
so i shall leave you know :). is a specialist high skewl like a a school that focuses on a certain aspect like human science or what have you? and i think my career will DEFO NOT BE with computers, because i have had enough of computer coursework to last my lifetime.

heyyyyyy!!!!!! omg i haven't been on createblog in nearly 2 months! goshh and i only got your comment now.. i am soo sorry! we haven't spoken in ages! ever since 2008 started lol happy belated new year ;]! i got a new computer which explains the reason for not coming on here much + the fact that i've been getting a mountain load - wait scratch that a ocean full =D of homework and coursework and tests and assessments and well i could go on and on and on. but luckily its like half-term now (a week of skewl! i'm not sure they have that in america?) so i have been able to breathe. literlly =D. aha, so hows things for you? whats been happening for you so far this year? and hows skewl and things? reply bak - imma be here more often now =D its like i finally found my long lost site or something..aha..x

yea, i hate school, too. i think i know what you mean. last year was so different, it was so easy, failing was pretty much impossible. this year, every teacher hates us! really! they all think we're the stupidest class they've taught yet. im failing science (i think) and i think math, but im not quite sure. i thought i wasnt failing social studies, but now im not that sure. i found out i got a 95 in orchestra. not bad, but last year i had a 99! its not what the number is, its the fact that i dropped.

pssh, starbucks is expensive, i dont get coffee from there. once and a while, but its mostly just at the bakeries and deli's. dunkin' donuts is famous for its donuts, coffee, and munchkins =] have you ever heard of baskin robbins? well, dunkin' donuts and baskin robbins are from the same company. i dont think you guys have dunkin donuts over there because this is their catch phrase: America run's on dunkin', =P and it is literally spelled with out the g, lol

Yah, its getting chillier by the day here. Like today was about 13 degrees, and it ain't even that cold (compared to the norm.) okay so im not a regular at starbucks or anything, so i aint ever heard of iced coffee. It seems nice tho - tell me more. And as for dunking donuts i drew a blank. i mean, they must be imported here somewhere, but I ain't ever seen 'em around. Unless, there like the ones in Pizza Hut, where there plain donuts and theres like a chocolate dip. -- a hot melted chocolate dip, hmm, yum. Im at school at the mo, in a Biology lesson. Sighh, we are doiing 'Understand Ourselves', and are creating a poster about the heart and stuff. Boring shizzlee :) your much more fun.
Schools been a drag this year. I hate it (really, you have no idea). Everything sucks like big time. Grr, I wish i could rewind to last year or something -- i hate school, and im afraid that im flunking in every single subject coz im bludi unmotivated. Lol, im sorry for my lil rant..i jus needed to let of steam. But well done for your test :). Your applications; do you know which school you wanna go to? Hectic, lord, everything in my life is hectic at the mo, and I aint even talking about school work. :@ lol :P.
Yeah we celebrate halloween, but the comparison between ours and yours will probably shock you. It ain't a big thing, and people don't do to much. The average kid might go around their block. And thats about it. My friends went a big crayzee on all hallows and terrorised their streets, but i missed out cuz i had too much hwk to do. :(. But your costume sounds fab. Last year we had a halloween party (Well it was a bdaii party, but it crossed halloween) so yeah anyway i dressed up as a vampress. Pretty skewl huh :) the pictures are on my bebo =].

dunkin' donuts had free iced coffee today =D i just came back from there. you guys have dunkin' donuts over there, right?

finished my SHSAT's. it was so much more simpler than i had imagined it to be! already handed in my high school apps. things are a little less hectic right now. but things arent going so well in school. i bombed my sci. test. and..well, thats pretty much all i'm worried about. but first marking period is over, so i can't do any extra credit or anything. =[
halloween just finished. do you guys have halloween? i dont know anybody that literally celebrates it as part of their religion. but i did go trick or treating =D you're never to old to go, is my theory. why miss out on a chance of free candy? anyways, dressed as a boy! it was so much fun. i had the baggy shirt and pants. the cap with the hood over. and the grillZ! oh, i also had a goatee and a mustache. goatee and mustache was made with eye liner, lol. the grillz were made with aluminum foil. the jeans was my mom's. the shirt was one that i wear to sleep. the cap was my friends little brother's power ranger cap =P. and the sweater was mine. hehe, i had so much fun.
